Can Sasuke become the next Hokage?

After the war, after gaining almost as much power as Rikodou Sennin, Naruto may be asked to become Hokage, but like Hashirama did to Madara, Naruto might ask Sasuke to become Hokage instead, telling him that his clan, parents and brother have died, so he should consider the people of Leaf Village his own family and protect them. So there might be a possibility that Sasuke may eventually become 7th Hokage after Danzo?

If the only reason why he runs for Hokage would be because Naruto wants him to be one then NO! The citizens of Konoha will never forget that he turned his back on the village and that he killed Danzo ( an important member of the Konoha council, the fact that he was very shady doesn't factor into this since in the end Danzo was looking out for Konoha's interest ). Kumogakure won't forget that he tried to kidnap Bee, the village's jinchuriki and it's most powerful "secret weapon". THe other nations won't forget that he crashed the Kage summit and basically attacked all the kage's present at the meeting.

On the other hand should Sasuke decide to forgive Konoha and help them stop Madara and Tobi/Obito and maybe even the Juubi... he would automatically become a HERO!! Everyone would forgive him for his past crimes and Kakashi or Tsunade ( if they survive the war ) can even say that he is a Hero who was assigned with the mission of hunting down Uchiha Itachi, keeping an eye on Orochimaru and then doing the same with the Akatsuki... basically they can say that Sasuke is a spy who was trying to PROTECT Konoha all along! THat way he would gain the respect of the citizens of Konoha and he COULD become the next Hokage. But i guess we'll just have to wait and see what Kishi decides to do with him ( i personally hope he says "**** IT" and destroys Konoha ).

I think he is going to help Naruto. I think he cares about the Leaf in the aspect that its important to Naruto and was important to his brother. So In my opinion he will help in the fight to seal the Jubi and Madara and kill Obito. But after this is done we will have to see what happens i see him going with Oro and setting up an awesome fight with Naruto. Maybe even another time skip? about 4 years so they will be around 20....

Danzo hokage?? Konoha village never vote for danzo as hokage......danzo just a looser in konoha... He just to chiken......and. Not suite as hokage.....and sasuke beijg hokage??? Did you read naruto ninja way??? Or maybe you need to reread again...

Sasuke follows most of the criteria which would produce a great Hokage. He is a powerful ninja, he is quite intelligent and analytical, he makes fairly good judgements etc. however he lacks the 'Will of Fire' which is an essential component that makes a Hokage who he or she is. However, realistically speaking it cannot happen - Sasuke attacked the Five Kage Summit and assassinated temporary Hokage, Danzō Shimura, meaning he is an international criminal. Sasuke has no future in regards to professional shinobi activity.

I don't see him becoming Hokage but i do see him running the Anbu and possibly gaining the trust of the village.I see Naruto telling the village how the Uchiha were killed and the mistreatment they got thur out the years. How forgiveness is a must

As much as this idea leaves a BAD, near impossible insipid taste in my mouth that my favourite character would somehow lead the 'will of fire' touting baboons, the chances of this happening are very large. The manga is creating parallels between Madara and Sasuke. Madara was rejected as a Hokage and his Clan eradicated through Konoha's skewed policies. Now, Konoha has a chance to redeem itself by not alienating the only surviving Uchiha who was pushed into this by Konohan political establishment.

Naruto, knowing the truth, already realizes Sasuke's anguish and knows that his whole reason to detest Konoha lies in the massacre. If the control is given to the clan that lost it and became a target for heinous politics, it redeems Konoha. People should stop throwing around rubbish about forgiveness when people like Gaara slaughtered others just for fun, yet now he is perched on a cushion under his ass right on the Kazekage seat.

If it doesn't go this way, then I'll be surprised. As far as the actual merits go, then Sasuke has more merits than Naruto for a Hokage seat on intelligence and clever tactician qualities alone.
