I need an answer on this shit because a certain someone keeps telling me that it can simply just absorb Amaterasu when it could barely handle this:

You clearly see that Killer Bee says that Samehada cannot "take the heat", so that means that it's too hot and he couldn't handle more than what Killer Bee expected. So, my question is, how can Samehada absorb something that is 100x as hotter?

I have argued this before my argument was technically it could but Samaheda has a huge distaste for it and after being force to absorb it once it would more than likely refuse to absorb another. Similar to a child being forced to eat plate after plate of vegetables he/she dislikes. Eventually the child will just push the plate away from him/her.

Edit: Also no swordsman is swinging the full weight Samaheda before Amaterasu lands, Amaterasu is too swift a technique. I also doubt any Samaheda user will be capable of tolerating the agony of being burned by the flames long enough to remove them by using Samaheda and if they do manage to pull this off as I said before the chances of Sameheda absorbing them willingly are extremely low.

No it can't. Only kisame fanboys say otherwise. Whilst samaheda MAY be able to absorb it, that isn't the problem.(The chances of it being able to absorb it are low) The main problem is that amaterasu spawns on the point of focus. In other words, if you aim for the users head, it's hits the head. A focused amaterasu burns at an alarming rate-far too quick to be absorbed. Samaheda hates fire too- so it may get scared and want to run away.

I can agree with something like this, I feel that the analogy applies well here. Amaterasu doesn't seem like the type of jutsu that Samehada would consistently absorb due to the fact that Samehada has its own conscious.

I don't see why not. Madara demonstrated that amatersu can be absorbed. Just because samehada doesn't like the taste of flames doesn't mean it is incapable of doing so (it's just not its preferred food type). If need be samehadas preferences can be forcible overruled by kisame or he can go shark dance which grants samehadas absorbance factor through kisames skin.

Also to people saying that the user of samehada would be in to much pain to get amatersu off,
Ay continued battling for a significant amount of time following catching alight and didn't seem to be hindered to much. Plus samehada can heal off damage sustained also.

Samehada can be forced, even more so when kisame has fused with him and taken over

Secondly Samehada coverts the absorbed chakra from enemies, techniques into stamina and gives it to kisame to heal him, any damage done if any before amaterasu is absorbed gets repaired [ ]

The Technique Madara implemented in absorbing Amaterasu is much more advanced than the Samaheda considering we have not seen an absorption limit. It could be compare to Preta Path but even that has yet to show itself absorbing Amaterasu.

I am having trouble believing that Kisame can forcible overrule Samaheda into doing something it does not have a willingness to do. Thinking back to Kisame v. Killer B Samaheda chose to began withdrawing chakra from Kisame and giving it to Killer B. The fact Samaheda is capable of doing such a thing would make forcing it to do something it does not have a willingness to do a terrible idea. Samaheda is a great comrade but a devastating opponent if your arsenal revolves around it's utilization. Also We have seen Samaheda convey spikes to force a release of grip by anyone using Samaheda that it does not want[ ]. This would mean it cannot be forced into doing any task it disagrees with.

When it comes down to Ay being able to tolerate the pain of Amaterasu there are numerous controversial factors. Ay kept his Lighting Armor active. Ay was enraged, anger causes adrenaline and also distracts one from pain. The size of Amaterasu flames in which he came in contact with was only the size of his forearm. Keeping these factors in mind it is hard to visualize a level-headed, opponent who lacks Armor and is exposed to greater Amaterasu flames such as these[ ], possessing such endurance.

Since when has Samehada ever absorbed a fire style jutsu? And does amaterasu even consist of chakra from the user? Comparing samehada to the rinnegan path that enables to absorption of all ninjutsu is NOT an adequate and justifiable comparison.

I agree. The idea of samehada countering amaterasu is laughable at best.

Ameterasu doesnt burn everything. that is just a hype like "raikiri pieces everything" and "Nothing can pass through third raikage's shild except his hell stab"
If Ameterasu burn everything it should hv burnt the scroll used by jiraiya to seal it. sorry i cnt provide scans i cn only tell you that i m talking about the amaterasu used by itachi to escape jiraiya's jutsu after he assulted kid sasuke.

Samehada has shown on numerous occasions that it is not loyal to its user. Samehada was angry at Bee after one standard Katon fireball. After one Amaterasu, Samehada will abandon its user.
