5th Gate just isn't enough. Not only is there no way for him to be faster than the 3rd Raikage, who Naruto canonically evaded and countered, but I'm actually pretty confident SM Naruto can tank that attack or at least survive, seeing as how he was perfectly fine when he fell from a massive height and 5th Gate involves a downwards thrust, while Lee is pretty much left for dead afterwards. He's also much stronger than Lee, one direct or ghost hit would incapacitate or end him.

There are obviously people that can contend or beat him, 5G Lee just isn't one of them.

SM Naruto would stomp 5G Lee in Taijutsu only. He's superior in physical strength and durability, and he can easily react to any of Lee's attacks. Not to mention Frog Kata hitting Lee=GG. 6G Lee wins though due to Asa Kujaku and the enhanced speed.

6th gate Lee would be a better match up imo. Lee probably wins mid-high diff, if he can fire repeated morning peacocks to roast Naruto. SM Naruto's taijutsu is great, but not on Lee's level.

You gotta be specific, people. ''Sage Mode Naruto'', can refer to current, teen post-buff, War Arc, or Pain Arc Naruto.

Anyway, with Rikudou chakra he obviously stomps. Without it he mid-diffs.

I don't see how Rikodou chakra matters in SM, because that is achieved by Naruto's own chakra...

Naruto's Rikodou chakra is the Rikodou Senjutsu chakra, and that'll grant him RSM, not SM. Him using Rikodou chakra along with his own chakra will just slightly buff the chakra, that's all. His state will still be RSM.

Imo I think 5th gate Lee would win, especially since it's Pein Arc TSM. While he does have Danger Sensing, Lee while in Gates, doesn't move in a linear fashion like the Raikages do. And on top of that, he is faster than Gaara's sand while in 5th Gate, so the Danger Sensing at most would allow him to know where the attack would come from at the last moment, but won't guarantee that he'd be able to react. There is a reason that Team Gai wasn't present for the Invasion. 5th gate Lee has impressive speed, arguably faster than anything Pein Arc T
SM Naruto has displayed. I believe he even broke the sound Barrier in PART 1 with nothing but 5th Gate Speed, but I'll have to reread the Gaara vs Lee fight to be sure.

EDIT: Reread Gaara vs Lee, he didn't break the sound barrier.

But in 4th Gate alone, a single kick generated a shockwave that everybody in that large room felt, and allowed a high speed combination attack that isn't detectable with the honed eyes of a ninja.

Now that I read it again, the only thing he did with 5th gate was the final kick... Disappointing tbh

1. That is War Arc TSM
2. Raikage moves in an extremely linear pattern
3. He doesn't need to be faster than Raikage, as long as his attacks aren't linear like Raikage
4. For Lotus, I'm pretty sure Lee let's go of his opponents at the last moment so he doesn't crash into the ground, but again, I'd have to reread the Lee vs Gaara battle

I doubt it. Half of Rikudou's Chakra should be relatively large compared to Kurama's own Chakras let alone Naruto's.

I don't know what you're saying. Yes, Rikodou's chakra is much larger than both Naruto's individual and Kurama's chakra, I didn't say otherwise.

Naruto received the Six Paths Senjutsu chakra from Hagoromo i.e. the Senjutsu kneading part is already done and prepared by Hagoromo. Naruto just needs to access that chakra and enter RSM, proven by the fact that Naruto does not need to gather NE to enter RSM, but he enters it much like BM or KCM.

I am guessing this is the Frog Sage Mode? Even if I consider Pein arc Naruto, he easily beats him even if he magically pulls out the 7th gate, which he doesn't have. All the jackass has to do is not waste Senjutsu on Rasanshuriken. The fight is in the bag for him. Till fifth gate, speed should not be a problem. 6th and 7th gates do not even last long and only only one tech once the gate is opened. Naruto can easily endure till that time.

Gates are over-rated.
