Can rinnegan cast/break genjutsu?

Wouldn't be surprised if the rinnegan can cast genjutsu however so far it hasn't.
Can it break genjutsu?. no. It does however like the other two doujutsu's grants insight ability.
Breaking free is up to the user though

If nagato would truly disrupted kakashi's chakra, he wouldnt be able to sustain raikiri. Best nagato managed was to change the path of a jab a little.

Nagato didnt control kakashi, he dodged the attack. The genjutsu slowed him down and allowed for that opening. Kakashi hesitated, nothing more.

Not really, 1 type is enough. Doujutsu plays no role vs sound genjutsu, but any user can brake free if he has powerful chakra and will + genjutsu proficiency.

If thats the case then nagato should've been able to break free of the genjutsu because he has an incredible amount of chakra and a strong will too. The uchiha brothers needed to cast genjutsu on each other, thats the only way we've seen somebody escape it

Possible, but hardly accomplishable on high tier shinobies

Why does Nagato hide his other eye? Is that a rinnegan too or is it just a normal eye since Madara transplanted it.

the eye can see through . breaking free of genjutsu has nothing to do with eyes

even sharingan user can be put under genjutsu .

genjutsu manipulates the flow of chakra inside ur body , so if u r good at chakra molding u can be a good genjutsu user or u can break a genjutsu cast by other . rinnegan or sharingan has nothing to do with it .

u have to interrupt the flow of chakra inside urself

Nagato would still lose to sharingan genjutsu and that of kabuto. Powerful chakra and genjutsu proficiency are needed to brake free.
Uchihas bros lost, cuz they couldnt go against SM powered genjutsu. But still they resisted enough to brake free.

It's not about the dōjutsu, it's about the user. Nagato is well placed to break illusions since he mastered Yin Release at a young age and was capable enough to set Genjutsu traps the likes of which Inoichi had seldom seen. Combine that with the ability to disrupt the chakra flowing to his paths and you've got a pretty solid defence against typical illusions. We haven't actually seen him utilize Genjutsu, however.

What the hell, no. That was Nagato's chakra controlling Kakashi a bit, when he pierces people with them polls he can control them slightly and fully if dead. That's what happens to Naruto as well, it's not a genjutsu and no the Rinnegan can't break out of it that's why he didn't break out of the frogs genjutsu.

I would assume if you unlocked the rinnegan after EMS and you knew let's say Tsukuyomi, I'm sure you can cast it but it's something the user already knows not something that you acquire when you get the rinnegan.

Rinnegan has no genjustu prowess, and the chakra disrupting blade has nothing to do with genjustu. We tend to forget that Madara's will is the disrupting blade and the rinnegan originally had nothing to do with that blade.

Rinnegan does give user Yin chakra but Nagato never used any genjutsu,
Madara switched to EMS from rinnegan when he used genjutsu on raikage bimut thats the same as him using Susanoo with Rinnegan, So may be
