Can PS3 in US play PS3 games from UK

Yes you can, PS3 is not region locked.

I have a japanese vita and i'm able to play games from the U.S.

So its all good.

The disk will work fine, but the DLCs won't work. I mean if the disk is UK region, and you downloaded DLC content from US PSN, the DLC won't work. And vise versa.
