Can Preta Path absorb Wood Release?

How exactly ur Sayng that Naruto gave life to Mukuton....?

its not naruto that gave life to mokuton, its the kyuubi Yang chakra that gave it life.

this is copied from narutopedia:

Whenever Naruto is in Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, Wood Release techniques will react to the Yang chakra's life-giving properties and mature into full-grown trees within a matter of seconds, either by contact or close range.

@bold: it says kyuubi yang chakra giving it life and make it full grown trees. going by this, mokuton never had life to begin with because its just earth and water.
but when ever kyuubi chakra comes in contact, the Yang kyuubi gives life.

also chouji was getting fat when he had kyuubi chakra:

bro i have explained it you that kyuubi Yang chakra is full of Yang, when it was close range to mokuton, it starts giving it life. this has been seen to chouji as well who was getting fat when he received kyuubi chakra.

hashirama himself is senju and due to his senju heritage, he carries a large supply of life force, that is how his mokuton grows.

the statement from narutowiki is actually a statement from the databook.

and even if mokuton was life, bee V2 has pure Yang yet nagato absorbed all of the chakra so i dont see the point of why preta path cannot absorb the chakra infused with mokuton.

I don't think it can, as wood release isn't just pure chakra converted into trees, they are actual trees, that merely use the chakra to grow. However, I do think preta path would make the trees wither, shrivel up and die.

I was talking about hashi in my example. Hashi uses his chakra to grow the wood, he doesnt make his own wood unless its sprouting from his body, but even then the mokuton would only be his cells, not made of chakra & thus an extension of his own body (therefore unaffected by preta).

Hashirama's clones are madeup of his own cell's and that's y they are filled with life force and therefore Pretha can't Absorbe his clone's...

dude you are not understanding what i am saying. preta absorbs chakra infused with anything, it doesn't absorb people because they are made of flesh, cells. preta absorbs chakra (Yin+Yang) from the body and i brought you a databook.

Pretty much spot on, think of hashi's clones like zetsu clones, made up of hashi's dna however they still have chakra.

Also, im not saying that preta can completely absorb normal mokuton, but preta can absorb the chakra in the mokuton which then makes it useless, but the wood still stays.

Yeah that makes sense because hashi would control the mokuton with senjutsu, so if preta tried to absorb the wood chakra then they would get petrified/turned to stone.

Biggest keyword ever here: Chakra! Yang Release, which is what wood release is made of because of Hashi's strong senju body/cells, is not chakra, nor is yin release. The two govern the body and the mind.

TL;DR: Mokuton > Preta Path.

Well mokuton absorbs on contact, so if preta is up then the chakra by itself should still get absorbed.
