He doesnt create the mokuton, it sprouts from the ground, he uses his chakra to grow it (reinforced by the fact that he is a younger son with yin release which is confirmed to grow wood).

If it is Hashirama's Wood...Hell no since Hashirama's wood style is filled with life force, Basically every Wood clone of Hashirama = An alive human that's y Orochimaru is able to revive Hokage's by sacrificng Wood clones.....

I think Tobirama developed EDO by usng Hashirama's clones ....I dnt think he would have sacrificed human's just to develop a Jutsu and he won't do smthng like that...

Yes he can absorb the WHOLE of the wood. But certain Mokuton techniques (such as wood clone) wouldn't be able to be absorbed as it uses the actual cells of the user, not just the chakra.

Wood coming from any users body is the chakra causing the cells to become Mokuton. Preta isn't absorbing cells.

I was talking about hashi in my example. Hashi uses his chakra to grow the wood, he doesnt make his own wood unless its sprouting from his body, but even then the mokuton would only be his cells, not made of chakra & thus an extension of his own body (therefore unaffected by preta).
