Saying tht obito beats him even before rinnigan I was like cant he just use preta path absorb it 0.0
Plus he's a sensor so he can feel when ninjutsu is about to be activated

Since when can preta path only absorb elemental ninjutsu ??? I thought it can absorb all ninjutsu and chakra based attacks (example if gaara was to attack Nagato with sand he won't absorb the sand but the chakra In it)

Yeah, but IDK it's kind of complicated. I would say no, because there's no chakra incorporated into Kamui in the sense that the portal itself has been opened using chakra, but the portal itself, or the opening to the other dimension doesn't contain chakra. That's my take on it. But even if Preta path tries to do it, his hands are gone, because if he sucks the hypothetical chakra out of the dimensional gate, the opening will close on his hands since he absorbs the pure chakra essence of the ninjutsu.

Ofcourse not, if Kamui is listed under ninjutsu that doesn't mean it can be absorbed, it just like Shinra tensei can't be.

Ok i think i recall him having to hold out his hands to counter the rasenshurikens, but either way, the portal closes on the part of his body that he is trying to absorb the chakra with and his body part gets sucked in. end of story

wrong rasengan is not a wind attack. Naruto ends up incorporating fuuton into the rasengan, but he's the only one that can do this. The actual, normal rasengan is pure chakra compressed into a violently rotating ball. (sometimes I impress myself with my knowledge of the manga... I should really get a life)

Well Obito is another story. I don't he would have had a chance, but his kamui would also work on preta path, by grabbing him and sucking him away with his version of kamui. But in this case, his kamui would probably fail, because preta path can suck up normal chakra as well. He did it with naruto, its possible to do it with obito

I agree. I think chakra opens the portal, but the portal isn't made of chakra. It closes if he tries to absorb it.
