I don't see how the orbs can be absorbed.

I doubt it. Preta absorbing senjutsu alone is iffy enough.

Idk man, wouldn't the yin-yang properties of a TSB negate that?

If it is considered a ninjutsu then technically preta should be able to, but ofc we know there's complications with this debate on both sides.

Preta path is Ninjutsu. TSO negates ninjutsu. The user would need Nature energy.

If you mean the truth seeking orb then that depends on if the user can manipulate the chalra. Absorbing is one thing, manipulating is another.

While goudodama have the capacity to negate ninjutsu, senjutsu still works against it. Another account is that we know it can negate offensive ninjutsu like wood style or any ninjutsu with form. Preta path is supplementary, goudodama are just compartments of elemental ninjutsu and yin-yang release. All of which can be absorbed. But since Goudodama can constantly change shape you will probably never see it in action

gudodamas are ineffective against ninjutsus. The only thing you can do is abosrb somebody elses natural energy if you're cable of using sennin mode yourself. But the gudodama itself has not been absorbed by Juubito, Juudara, kaguya, and rsm naruto.

TSB are "hard", so no. Preta works by absorbing chakra straight back into the user's pool through the meridian.

In other words, the only chance of absorbing them is when they're being manipulated, in which case they are fluid. It's still not guaranteed though, since it's incredibly dense.
