Can petra absorb Yin Yang Realease

A lot of people are talking about petra path being able to absorb any kind of chakra based attack, but i dont believe he can absorb any yin or yang release.

If petra can absorb anyform of chakra y cant he absorb genjitsu. As genjitsu is a form of chakra used to disrupt an enemy's sense.
Genjutsu are techniques that are employed in the same fashion as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals.

So according to this petra should be able to absorb genjitsu however he was hit by the frog genjitsu and would have died if it had not been for nagatos ability to revive paths.
Now this is y i think he cant absorb genjitsu
According to the Second Mizukage, genjutsu fittingly falls under the broad category of Yin Release.
Just like tobi could not absorb shikamarus shadow( he used gedo to attack shika instead).

Here kakashi states that shikas is yin or yang release.
This could lead people to believe that if wood does have yin or yang chakra in it(life) then it can not be absorbed.

Its jutsu that is forced into someone and messes with thier chakra to force irregularities... so actually if preda latched himself onto the person under the genjutsu he can indeed drain the persons chakra along with the genjutsu user's chakra... so in a weak and useless way he can... just my theory on the fact..

According to some people it absorbs the whole Chakra out of Hashiramas Mokuton instantly and leaves it death, before being crushed. It absorbes the perfect Susanoo before being crushed and most recently it is able to absorb Bijus.

Don't know, everyone has his own opinion :shrug:.

Its not any Chakra, its any Ninjutsu.

This ability was primarily defensive in nature as it is capable of absorbing any ninjutsu-based technique, thereby nullifying its effect.
