He got beat twice though by itachi. I don’t think it’s a matter of can he. Oro can’t win in a straight up fight. He’ll have to be sneaky and even then it’s risky.

I wonder why orochimaru never attempted edo tensei against itachi. Was it because he knew it'd be useless and itachi can stop it somehow? Or that he never wanted to get in a serious fight with itachi knowing his powers.

Bcs he was not serious against him, 1st time he didnt expect that Itachi would be that strong, he didnt took Itachi seriously, 2nd time he couldn't his hands were sealed.

i don't know about that, maybe, maybe not, depends what edos he could summon and how strong they were, that time Hokages were sealed...well in the end i think Itachi was stronger than Oro in past, but nowadays, Orochimaru probably got very strong...imo he surpassed Itachi... well lets w8 and see...

Well i guess we will never find out now. But for some reason even kabuto didn't use edo against itachi. He got cocky too. Was it intentional on kishi's part to find a way for itachi to win. I mean no matter who you are, how can you take a MS genius and an EMS user lightly. Not using everything you have against them.

If I've to add, he(Kabuto), seemed rather reluctant to use the Sound 4's Powers, to it's fullest extent. Not that it mean's anything but, on a second thought, Itachi if I remember correctly stated on how no jutsu of Orochimaru, would-work on him.
