can one cheat in an Elemental fight?

fire>wind>lightning>earth>water

Here's my view, if you control wind and in essence air, then if you master it to a certain level then rather than feed the fire then you could starve it by creating a void or guiding the fire!

Just a thought! U_U
Would it be possible and would there be other such cheats?

its not always about the cycle of the elements for example wind>lighting but it also depends on the jutsu if its a s class jutsu or a simple b class jutsu take this for example a s class jutsu like KIRIN going against a probably low level b rank wind bullet jutsu from danzo even tho wind>lighting its obvious kirin>wind bullet since its stronger thats why the element cycle isnt always a good example.

you said fire>wind>lightning>earth>water...and thats correct ,....but only for the same jutsu lvl.....as difference in jutsu lvl can be seen by the chakra amount they put on the jutsu ......the more the lvl the more chakra you need to put on the jutsu .... so if you differentiate jutsu with less chakra and jutsu with more chakra ofcourse jutsu with more chakra wins even if its opposite of the table...just my thought

In this case its the same levels of chakra just how one uses it to counter for instance kirin is lighning and beats earth but if you can get highly conducting materials from the earth you could just surround yourself with rods of it making the attack null!
