Well a boss is a leader, a protector and a overall strong. Not to mention a bad ass.
Minato was the leader becoming Hokage.
He protected the village from the Kyuubi and Obito.
He is very strong with rasengan and FTG.
And yes he is bad ass.

I think Minato pretty much fathered the whole of Narutos generation. W/e Sasukes mum is called, Minato flash banged. Shikamarus mum, the same, Choujis, he skipped.
