i thought perfect jins were able to sync with their bijuu. meaning, getting along, and cooperating, being able to use their attacks etc. all obito and madara did was use them to transform.

Being a perfect Jinchuriki just means having cooperation with your bijuu. Obito had forced control while Madara seems to have willing cooperation at this point.

The first form of Obito was not, but when he gained full control he was a perfect jinchuuriki.

Madara just has more piece of the bijuu than Obito did.

It's like implying that naruto isn't a perfect jinchuuriki because he is missing the other piece of Kurama.
