well no hiding a mass shadow clone in a load of rubble with out him noticing isnt a trick or no not at all
and he didnt give up against pain

Naruto made all his clones transform into rubble ..between even more rubble. he used rasengans as smoke bombs to get a pein into the mouth of Gamabunta.. Gathered Sage chakra because he knew if pain absorbed it he'd turn into stone ..

It's not like those are things u can forsee to happen in a ninja battle..

No Minato is a natural genius and is very tactically awhere, he was able to figure out Obito's weakness in mere minutes something Naruto has never figured it out, plus Minato has the perfect counter fo Obito's Kamui; Ftg.
