[Discussion] can naruto maintain sage mode for long time???

in any battle if naruto keep couple of his clones away from battle and absorb sage chakra and then whenever he requires the chakra he release the clone technique and achieve sage mode. shouldn't he be able maintain to maintain sage mode all the time except the very small time while he losses sage mode and send clones to gather sage chakra? what do you think?

I don't think so, but you do bring up a good topic. Even though Naruto has some monster chakra stamina, I think that his Kage Bunshin would be draining chakra if he had them out at all times. Doesn't seem like he would really have time to rest and restore is he kept them out.

Well normaly you have to balance the ying and yang chakra to use ninjutsu. And naruto has a lot of that (without the kyuubi's power)
And in sage mode u have to balance all 3 of them, so there must be a great amount of nature power too. And what i've understanded is that u only use the nature power when in sage mode. So basicly he only would spent chakra to make a kage bunshin. And we've all seen how many he can make, numbers like 1000 and 2 at a time to concentrate nature power. The only thing is when the chakra decreases, the nature power decreases too, to get that balance. So the time will decrease too. But yeah it could last a long time.
