Sasuke would have done it if it would have worked. Him not doing it shows that it wouldn't have worked. It works with the users chakra, that is what is magnetized (Nagato's chakra condensed into a ball and Madara's as well), Sasuke had his chakra in the Bijuu (his Genjutsu he used on them) and used that as bases for CT turning the Bijuu into the cores, could have used Sakura as core if he wanted to as well. Naruto would have broken out of the Genjutsu (just like Sakura), and literally breaking the pile of rocks around him would be Childs play.

So No don't believe it would work on Naruto or anyone stronger then him.

Edit: For the idiots that think what I said means Sasuke can't do CT without the use of Genjutsu (going by what's happened in the Manga though says otherwise...but anyway), he can. But he didn't with the Bijuu, he placed them in a Genjutsu and used them as the core and as we know the user of said technique has to use his chakra (Nagato and Madara's chakra balls used as the core). Sasuke used the chakra in the Bijuu to paralyze them and thus stopping their movement and then using them as a substitute for the usual condensed chakra ball.

So, he cancels out the force he himself is producing? That makes sense /s.

Not the gravity but the Rinnegan's control over him. I look at it the same way genjutsu works, Rinnegan gains control over Naruto's chakra hence why he remains a core for CT. If Naruto disrupts his chakra he should be able to break the dojutsu's spell like he did with ST.

Your post makes no sense. I'll be blunt here.

How ? The only way a dojutsu can control someone's body is by having the person's chakra under the user's control. That's how it's always been,

No. He is the core. Rock will continue to amass itself around him until there is none left or until Sasuke cancels the jutsu. He is the magnet and the magnet's range extends far beyond what Naruto can displace every possible material to.

Breaking out after the tech is finished is possible, but only if his physical strength is high enough, which it definitely is not in human form and Avatar form is debatable, but considering how much more powerful Sasuke is than Nagato due to having more, stronger chakra and being the true owner of the Rinnegan, I'm gonna go ahead and say no.

About what scenario are we talking about ?

1.Naruto is already inside CT and can he break it ?

2. Can Naruto prevent CT to completely form around himself (assuming he is not under genjutsu) ?

And I see that there are still moronic arguments about Genjutsu being a prerequisite of CT, heh.

And where did you get all of this from that they work in a similar manner? Care to post something from the manga to back it up? That'd be great.

Once rocks stop getting attracted to him, he can bust his way out, Sasuke put thet bijuu in genjutsu so that won't happen.

Though, getting caught in one of those CT is nasty since Sasuke is able to move 9 of them across countries in a matter of seconds.

This. Nardo isn't just gonna get caught in the rocks and be like, "Damn bro, you got me. Better luck next time huh"

No one said it was a prerequisite. It might as well be, though, for anyone TB level and higher.

Just like chakra rods and genjutsu, CT grants control over the opponent's body, and every jutsu is affected by chakra in some type of way even if it's something non-tangible like S/t and Deva.

If the whole manga works on that, then we would stop having debates.
If your debates work on the simple argument 'No it doesn't', then you should stop having debates.

Do Sasuke have feats of using CT without putting victim in genjutsu first ? Nope

You do realise that when you put someone into genjutsu you have full control over him . Sasuke put Bijuu inside genjutsu and made their chakra act like magnet / core.

Unless you have feats of sasuke doing so without putting target inside genjutsu ?

Those two work differently. So, do the other two.

If your debates work on the simple argument 'No it doesn't', then you should stop having debates.

Isn't shown in the = no, it doesn't. Since the manga makes no reference of Genjutsu being an important step towards CT, then yes, I can safely say, "no, it doesn't."

You can't control someone without having control over their chakra flow, that's undeniable.

You are the guy who thinks Hinata is a Class A Shinobi. I am shocked you believe that anyone here takes you seriously.

Surely the manga did say it was important. Because if it wasn't that important something like this would happen,
You must be registered for see images

So again, it might as well be a prerequisite for anyone TB level +.

And what does that accomplish? Kurama couldn't break out of CT at eight-tails. A weak CT. Nagato could have made it bigger, but he didn't. The rest of them don't even have any hopes. To top it off, the Tailed-beasts themselves are the cores. The pull is stronger this time, just like Nagato's CT was being easily made when all of his power was focused.

Obviously number 2 based on OP's responses, and even if it were number 1 the answer is still no for all the people arguing about it.

Naruto doesn't have the physical power to free himself from the strongest Chibaku Tensei someone of Sasuke's level could possibly make. Can't charge a BD when you can't open your mouth due to the compressed rock being all around you. Can't gather enough momentum for a tail swing strong enough to destroy it either.
