Yeah if you put it that it that way since nothing else was able to block IT light bar is his susanoo which writer explicitly stated to be becoz of his dojutsu

what? this makes no sense as obviously one Rinnegan is enough to do the job.
it doesnt matter whether soosano is up or not because manga gave the reason for the light not shining through it as due to his Rinnegan repelling it. very simple. the llight got through buildings and affected others inside but not soosano and the reason for that was stated. sasuke put up soosano because that was the only way to extend protection to naruto and the others
