Can Nagato Trap Kyuubi in the Chibaku Tensei

Possibly if the nine tails stands there and does nothing and while nagato uses it.
if hes in the sphere he will strugle to get out.

No one is using Shinra tensei against the kyuub it is being used to push back his blasts and Nagato shinra tensei is way stronger then when he was using it through Deva realm.

yes nagato can easily trap the kyubi with chibaku tensei, no one can escape chibaku tensei without help

Put it this way pain trapped the full kyubbi without the seal breaking off with low chakra after destroying konoha and fighting naruto + he was channeling his chakra through a dead body so im under no doubts that if nagato used celestial tera sphere with a decent amount of chakra he would contain it he was containing it with a dead body while weak.
