Are people actually saying yes?
Hiruzen, the best Hokage of all time is going to get beaten by teleporting and rasengan?
Ummm...considering the fact that we know NOTHING about Hiruzen's prime, it makes sense for people to be skeptical when he's put up against someone as powerful as Minato...
And you can't say that Hiruzen is the best Hokage. Your claim is based on opinions, which means that you can't prove it 100%. You can just say that he was CALLED the best. It doesn't mean he WAS the best.
"teleporting and rasengan" was capable of greatly harming Tobi's shoulder resulting in his arm being ripped off, and had he not made his retreat, he would've lost more than his arm.
And we really don't know what else Minato can do, we've only seen him in a fight that only lasted a minute or so.
I would disagree with the statement that we know nothing about Hiruzen. He was a master of seals and many different affinities and was called God Shinobi. So to say that we know nothing would be incorrect
And why not? It has yet to be proven otherwise that he is the best. The manga says kumogakure is in a place called the Land of Iron and that place will be known as the Land of Iron until proven wrong.
And can you guess why? Because we have never seen his prime and Minato fanboys will always vote for him because they like him because he has a cool jacket and can teleport which makes him able to defeat even the SO6P.
In my opinion that was plot no jutsu. There was nothing stopping Tobi from going intangible again but Kishi wanted Minato to win so he just let that happen.
Hiruzen knows all his abilities and for sure will make a fast counter even to FTG
HIRUZEN WINS
Hiruzen can only hit him when he attacks and counter Minato with some instant jutsu.
Otherwise NOO

No. What makes you think Minato would even last a minute?
Sorry. But we certainly don't know enough about his prime to fairly pit him against other ninja with equally large amounts of hype. Honestly, Hiruzen fans LIVE off of hype, if he didn't have hype, then his feats would place him below current Chouji! So the only thing he has is his hype, without any real feats to back it up, unlike Minato, who has the hype and the feats to back it up.
Ummm...the fact that you can't prove 100% that he is the strongest ninja means that someone else certainly could be. It is an opinion, not fact. Which means in a scenario like this, you can't use your OPINION that he is the strongest as a fact, which you did. And you insulted people for having a different opinion. Now, if you actually had feats to prove that he was stronger, then you would be more in the right, but all you have is an opinion, and you could be wrong.
And your example with the Land of Iron is terrible. Let me give you a better one. In American football, many people say that Tom Brady is the best quarterback ever. Sure he's great, but are they right? You can't prove that. People also say that Peyton Manning is the best. Are THEY right? You can't prove that either. Same thing here. You can't prove anything, so stop pretending like you did and realize that you may be wrong.
