[Discussion] Can Mihawk cut diamond?

You would think that the WGS would be able to pull it off but im asking this because at MF he wasn't able to cut Jozu. That slash was intended for WB so obviously he put alot of power into that yet Jozu took it and came out unscathed.

OT: I don't believe any one slash from Mihawk can cut diamond, and by extension Jozu, but with enough successive strikes, the combined strength from each strike will eventually break it.

The haki just hardens it, not like chakra which can make it sharper with the wind ability for example

Yes he can. What you forget is that you can vary the level of your slash depending on the target. For example, Daz Bones managed to block a slash from Mihawk himself because it wasn't intended to him(it was intended to Luffy), but Mihawk changed his slash to make it capable to cut him in the second attack. The slash he used against Whitebeard wasn't intended to cut diamond but human flesh. Jozu just happened to intervene outside Mihawk's prediction. It doesn't mean however that if he tried he couldn't and i do believe he can

You can tell by Jozu's face he struggled in directing mihawks slash to the sky. He tried pretty hard. In a all out fight, 1x1 , i reckon mihawk could cut diamond but he has to be aware, Jozu is faster and stronger than he looks. (Remembers what Pimp Crocodile said)
