madara can do any rinnegan power, he just doesnt need it, tell me, when nagato can bring out that huge meteorite and complete susano. you dont need to argue. rinnegan,ems,wood>>rinnegan

first of all only way itachi can win is if he plan a surprise attack on nagato and that even i am saying weak nagato(the one who didnt get to eat food for years)
but if its 1 on 1 weak Nagato will beat itachi with high diff.
And also if you are considering nagato in his prime then he would completely own itachi.
Now about that one shot technique
1. Amaterasu : easily dodged by nagato(sensory type ninja)
2. Tsukayomi : dont think it will work on nagato.
3. That blade sealed nagato only cause kabuto was controlling nagato. (nagato knows far better to use his own ability than kabuto) also if it wasnt for bee and naruto it couldnt had worked
4. Susanoo : please nagato will suck all chakra on susanoo.

5. Now lets see Shinra tensei : itachi cant counter that jutsu a weak nagato destroyed a whole village.
6. Universal pull : imagine itachi blinks for a secone then universal pull game over.
7. Gedo maza : it made hanzo + danzo run like a coward plus it is actually a one hit kill.
8. And Chibaku tensei : imagine a weak nagato can capture a 8 tail for of kyubi. So it can capture itachi with his susanoo too.

  Itachi didn't stop a war, it's still going.

• He got lucky breaking out of edo tensei it wasn't due to his own power like Madara but an outside factor.

• He stopped Chiyo, Kimmimaro and Mu, the rest of the edo's were out of commission and he failed to stop the main threat Madara.

• Last time I checked he needed backup and an ass pull to defeat Kabuto, as for Nagato he barely did anything besides hit him with tosuka at the end.

btw, i dont have any source madara showing using all elements or shinra tensei, but he has them because they are rinnegan powers

First of all, Edo madara would crush Edo nagato. That simple. He has all the techniques that nagato posses + Mukton + Pf susanoo and all its techs. If you say Edo nagato is greater than Edo madara I will put that shit on a thread only to have people laugh at your ass.

And itachi does have a counter for Madara.
Its izanami because itachi himself said that it was created for Power Hungry Uchihas like madara.

i think what he meant by sync with gedo mazo is by having sasuke help him seal the bijuus since there's only a few left when Konan left, there was only Kisame, Zetsu, and Tobi
