Can Madara and obito really use rinnegan?

Hey guys i have noticed alot of people saying that madara could just shinra tensei the whole SA away. even though it has not been stated in the manga I have been under the impression that obito and madara have been using all the rinnegan's ability to summon and control the jubi.
For me this explains why shikaku would allow fodder to even attempt taijutsu against madara (even though susano or many other techniques are just as dangerous in my view)
and why we have not seen obito use the rinnegan anything like how nagato did.
What do you guys think? can anyone shed some light.

Should be able to....I would imagine that Already trained Rinnegan eyes are probably capable of passing on some sort of expirience....sort of how a the switching of Sharingans bring everlasting light...plausible I guess.

Nagato is definately the better Rinnegan user. They are Madaras eyes but he only got rinnegan close to his death while Nagato trained in using it his whole life. Madara would definately surpass Nagato with it eventually but as of now no Nagato is the better rinnegan user. (no im NOT saying nagato>madara)

Yeah, most likely. But, you have to remember that Nagato had much more experience with the rinnegan than Obito. I can't say Madara is or isn't very good at using it because we really havent seen him use it in action yet, but he IS Madara Uchiha so we can most likely expect the best from him.

We have seen Madara use the Rinnegan, before he obliterated the 4th division with his meteor awesomeness he used one of the path techniques to absorb Naruto's Rasenshuriken. So he can definitely use the Rinnegan but I think the reason they are not using it is most likely because they are trying to control the Juubi and/or have not needed to.

Obito is probably trying to conserve as much chakra as possible and the fact that he has lasted this long without having to utilise the Rinnegan and only using his Sharingan techniques, probably means he does not feel a need to use the Rinnegan at this point in time. He did use some of the Rinnegan's powers to control 6 of the tailed beasts.

Also I imagine that the alliance has some counters against the Rinnegan's powers, thanks to Konoha's experience with Pain/Nagato.

In regards to the supposed 'fodder' shinobi, we have to remember that Shikaku does not consider less powerful shinobi fodder like you or other people do so of course they will try to utilise what is available to them like any army would. Just because a shinobi isn't as powerful as say Naruto or Bee for example, does not mean they cannot contribute towards trying to find an opening at least.

They most likely can. Guy was also wondering why Obito didn't have the 6 Jins use Rinnegan techs. Kakashi then said it was probably because controlling the Jins themselves consumes too much chakra. Obito then tells him he made a good observation and has a good eye. So he already consumed too much chakra to actually be reckless enough to spend more in using Rinnegan techs. He's in the middle of a war so running out of chakra after fighting one opponent isn't an option. Madara also said that he would teach him the Uchiha's jutsu along with the Sage's jutsu. In my opinion, I also believe that he was the one who trained Nagato to better use the Rinnegan after Yahiko's death.


As for Madara, well I don't really see any reason for him to use it. He made clones of himself to make a 5 Madaras vs 1 Kage just to fool around. Then later said he wasn't going to hold back against Naruto and ended up simply using Hashirama's Wood Dragon. He could've used PS along with it or made 25 Susanoo clones. He was actually trying to capture them though but I would normally think that the reason he didn't simply kill Naruto and revive him later was because Kurama would break out once Naruto dies. The reason i'm confused is because Kabuto actually said that he would use Nagato to kill Naruto and Bee, bring them to his location, and then revive them later so I'm not sure how that works.


If anything, Kishimoto simply hasn't had them use more Rinnegan techniques for the time being.
