To use basic ninjutsu you need to balance two types of energies. Lee can't even do that at all. Senjutsu requires the manipulation of 3 types of energies.

It's impossible for him to do that without knowing the basics of chakra control, which is what is required for ninjutsu.

Sakura has perfect chakra control, she would be a great person for utilizing and balancing her chakra with nature energy.

Lee is her opposite

He lacks perfect chakra control, he would be a bad person to utilize and balance his chakra with natural energy. Why? Because he can't even work his own chakra, what makes you think he can manipulate some outside forces chakra that is hard to control.

So lee can manipulate his willpower and cause the gates to unlock.

As we all know, Lee does not lack chakra, but merely the ability to mold it. He can't utilize his chakra. However, what if Lee tried to learn sage mode? With sage mode, taijutsu gains an extreme boost. Could Lee be able to utilize the Frog Kumite? As it stands, I don't think that requires much of any chakra molding, as it's similar to using the energy from the gates.

My question is, can Lee actively absorb enough nature energey to activate sage mode(Under the same learning Naruto endured).

hell no. one must have enormous chakra pools to master sage mode. Otherwise nature energy will take over
