Im pretty sure this thread is just "why does naruto get more screen time than my fav?" in disguise, oh well, might as well join.

Did you not see the fact that half the manga was also about Sasuke? Naruto may have done a bit more in the Kaguya fight, but Sasuke was doing more in the Madara fight. Kishi was wanking Sasuke indefinitely throughout the manga too. This manga was about both Sasuke and Naruto. If it was just about Naruto, then why would Sasuke even be a part of the prophecy of Ashura and Indra? Because his role in the manga is as big as Naruto.

Forgot to mention this in my original post, remember the times Itachi wouldn't stop riding Sasuke? Remember all of Sakura's "Sasuke-kun"? If anything Sasuke has been ridden harder by Kishi.

I just used the word "revenge", to give a better view, plus being a psychopath has nothing to do with killing bz, your having a double standard, because Naruto killed bz, so what's the difference between Obito or sasuke doing it?, it would made more sense, for one of them to do it, plus even in novels/ fillers, Naruto still has to be apart of it, example ( Kakashi novel, sakura Hidan), even in the Uchiha speacial specifully about itachi and sasuke, this guy Naruto still shows up

In the end Obito was labeled as a misguided soul and as "the coolest guy", so by Naruto himself, and it wouldn't neccessairily be revenge, everbody has their own roles, that's just like if, instead of Naruto changing sasuke, it was Garra or if instead of rock lee telling guy it was ok to use 8 gates to kill Madara, it was Darui, like it wouldn't make any sense, this is the same for Naruto defeating bz, it was not his place, by like I said, kishimoto always wants to make Naruto the hero for everything

Not really, I didint dislike Naruto, atleast before the war and I know he's the mc, but for awhile now, kishimoto has been sucking him off too much, not saying it was always that way, but now he barely gives a balance, plus Naruto saving sasuke and chasing him to come back to the village, was mostly an attempt to make naruto look good, think about it, he's the only one who didn't give up on him, while everyone lost faith, he always tried to see the good in sasuke and etc, it all goes back to his chosen one prophecy and for the most of the war, Naruto got to display his power, while sasuke only got two chapters two himself, without it being so Naruto centre, when they first got their powers and the chapter was named "Sasukes rinnegan" and something else, but other then that, it's been a non stop naruto wank fest

It's not even just appearance, he's just always has to be in spotlight for everything, like it could barely be someone else, even in kakashi novel and Sakura hidan, when it's suspose to be focused on those two characters, he still has to be apart of it, like c'mon, he already had the last movie and fought 99 percent of the Kaguya fight, like kishimoto can never just make it about someone else.

because the fame and power he achieved that Arc was hokage Tier he Knew his role was already Secured.

and then he had a whole crisis about not feeling right about being acknowledged by the whole village now. All his life he was looked down upon and shunned and suddenly everyone loves him and he's just supposed to accept them back even after what they did to him? That's why he had to fight and make peace with the darkness within him. After that, he no longer had that inner conflict that drove him to be the bratty loud mouthed child he was, his goals were more mature and focused, he wasn't shooting for personal gain but rather trying to save the world with the power that he had come to harness, the inner demons he had tamed. In the end, he became the Hokage, and united the world through the hope he gave it during the war and through subsequent Hokage summits. The story is called Naruto and so it was fitting he would be the one to solve all the conflicts in the story, but to do that he needed his comrades to work with him as well, like Itachi said trying to shoulder all that burden alone will only lead to failure. He was a messiah like figure because he represented the hope and determination and ability to forgive and do away with petty hatred and revenge that the Shinobi world lacked up until then, he set an example and showed the enemies and the people that there were more ways to go about things other than cutting down your enemies without trying to understand them and taking vengeance for your lost comrades, which in the end only leads to more and more perpetual hatred and conflict.

I'd say Naruto is a pretty deep story...

Naruto AND Sasuke got to display their powers, there were very little chapters where Naruto got to display his powers and Sasuke didn't. They both didn't get enough time away from each other in the war arc, because they were both in the spot light. Infact id dare say its been more of a Sasuke wank fast than it was a Naruto wank fest.
