Tobi says that Kamui wouldnt effect him - so its not inesacapable, + the yata mirror fits whatever element is attacking it - perhaps it would defend against space time?

Tobi said that because he can warp himself in and out of the other dimension. So if Kakashi used Kamui on Tobi then Tobi will just warp himself back to the real world. The only defense against Kamui is knowing how to do it yourself and warping yourself back like Tobi can

Hmm it would probably suck up the chakara ... pulling the form to go half way... relocating itachis chakara from the back of susanoo to the front to keep the shield... but the shield is known to deflect all so maybe it will repel kakashis kamui back at his face? Would be deadly. But by the time he sucked up the chakara to degrade susanoo to ribcage... he would have mey his end cuz he be open to get impaled by the sword of totsuka.

Anyway, given what we have been told, I personally think the Yata Mirror would change characteristics to counter Kamui. It wouldn't necessarily have to avoid being absorbed, but merely ensure that anything Kamui does to it doesn't affect it's defensive abilities.

yeah maybe kishi would favor the attack rather than defense. since offense are more interesting. like gaara's ultimate defense being always penetrated

@ blolded part... its funny how it says no defense is possible when tobi made his eye tech look like a garbage dojutsu and leave it having absolutely no effect when he attempted kumai. I would say the sheild<Kumai because its simply apart of a more advanced dojutsu.

Well, the moment he try to wrap it, the Totsuka sword will land up on his head.. you possibly think Itachi will be standing still watching him using his Mangekyou Sharingan technique..?

Although, there is no proof whatsoever if it even can wrap it or not, Kamui truly was said to wrap anything up, but Yata Mirror was also said to have the ability to deflect any sort of attack, so it's quite a conflict in here already.
