This one shows that he opens the first gate.
Also, the episode in the anime is 55 of Naruto. In the 13 to 14 minute of the episode it clearly shows that he can open the first gate.

To climb a mountain, it does't require a lot of gates. The 2 first gate are in brain.
Kakashi can probably open more or less 5 gates in my opinion.
