Kakashi and Deva path were both gaurded by plot shields in that fight. Kakashi got trolled way harder though

yes but without wood clones kakashi wins with kamui ,if hashirama fought kakashi with the real one without using clones ,he would be warped by kamui ,
the fight usually starts between the real one vs real one not clones,with this rue kakashi has the right to use his kamui in the start of the fight and warp hashirama before he makes any clone

kakashi lost to pain because he didn't used kamui on pain,if he had done he would have beaten pain

current kakashi uses kamui well,he doesn't take time to gather chakra ,
he warped 2 susano's arrows in no time although his ms was locked when the arrows was going toward him
kakashi's kamui is nearly instant ,real hashirama can't counter it
