Can Jiraya solo Suna?

If i'm not mistaken, the context of this page was that Jiraiya had warned Suna of an impending Akatsuki attack... He then says Suna was on the move to prevent infiltration and attack. I think that here, Jiraiya was just assuming all the Akatsuki were his level or higher and he was simply wondering "even with all their security, could they prevent someone like me from entering/infiltrating their city to attack it?"

i don't think Jiraiya was at all saying he could take on Suna itself and win... he was merely referring to entering the country undetected and was wondering if Suna/Gaara would be safe from Akatsuki. of COURSE i don't think Jiraiya was arrogant enough to believe he could single-handedly take on Suna itself. He probably knew he could defeat Gaara 1-on-1 though, no question.

Well for me it's as if he is asking if they can stop him if he decides to enter in Suna, at least it's what i understood from what he said

Took on Susanoo? to my memory, Gaara--along with the other Kage--got raped by the Susanoo clones. the clones were like Madara himself, just toying with them and they were getting spanked so hard it wasn't even funny. that wasn't a good example to use to state Gaara's strength

well it's true he was born in Konoha, but he's not a Konoha ninja anymore. he betrayed, defected, and became a renegade. and then, he CREATED the Sound Village himself, that makes him a Sound Ninja. But since the Sound no longer exists, Oro is simply a ninja. he has no affiliation with any country.

Uhhhhhh, pretty sure if Deidara could do it, Jiraiya could absolutely do it. Sage mode not required either.

If Jiraiya even had prep time, he could just go SM and do a giant swamp of the underworld on the entire village. The only one that could avoid dying would be Gaara, but Jiraiya could either finalize his attack on the village, or use the situation to easily pick off Gaara while he's trying to save the village from Jiraiya's attack. Either way you look at it, Jiraiya would win, with or without prep time.
