Can Izanami work on Itachi?

I remember he said that he was like Kabuto when he was alive and that it's the reason why he knew it would work on Kabuto. So since it worked on Kabuto, does it mean that if another Uchiha(Obito or Madara for example) use Izanami on Itachi, it will work as well?

Itachi would recognize the endless loop as Izanami, to which he knows the counter. To accept / admit whatever truth is keeping him within Izanami.

He knows its weakness like every Uchiha should know that's not the problem. I'm not asking if he can break it. Knowing and explaining it's weakness, it's sure that he can. Even Kabuto can since Itachi told him the weakness, problem is that he is stubborn. But what i'm asking is if it will work at all before even asking it Itachi can break it
