I believe he can but it would take him much longer than Madara obviously.


The Raikage is fast enough to dodge the flames of Amaterasu but his weakness is Genjutsu and Itachi specializes in that. A Tsukuyomi can easily defeat A. Considering how good Itachi is at casting Genjutsu he'll probably go for that first.

Then to defend himself from countless attacks he can activate Susano'o, which can easily take care of most of the attacks with the Yata Mirror. With Itachi's speed he'll be able to catch the rest of them with combined Amaterasu uses.

Honestly, how is Itachi suppose to combat a blitz master like A & numerous sand waves?

Garra can pull Itachi out of his Susanoo from underneath just like Madara.

Oonoki made is possible for Gaara to pull from the Susano'o by making his sand lighter. So without Oonoki he wont be able to do it. Who is supposed to be the Hokage? Danzo or Tsunade Lol

Genjutsu works by controlling the chakra flow of the opponents cereberal system, third eye is just sand. Not even special sand.

I'm telling you, A and Gaara are bound to be casted into a Genjutsu. Itachi's Susano'o will handle the rest. The thing about his Susano'o is that it wields the legendary weapons and one touch from Totsuka blade is the end. Sure he will be on the defensive but that sword is extremely fast and will hit one of them.

But if Itachi was really skilled he could point at them from the beginning and if they all look at his fingers it's finished.

His crows also cast genjutsu and attacks according to his command and similar way Deidara got his micro clay in to explode on Gaara's face , Itachi can use a similar strategy to cast jutsu on Gaara.

A attacks & yata mirror repels him while his body is flying through the air Susano'o can impale him.
Itachi can combat easily since Yata and Susano'o are defensive and offensive at the same time.
His sharingan also reads intentions extremely fast and his hand sign quickness is probably faster than amateratsu and tsukuyomi or pretty close Lol if he can perform hand signs and pull shuriken out all in one motion sort of.

Gaara could just reside in his Special Sand and make it an aerial battle but this is the Gokage so he doesn't even need to do that. Itachi can't Genjutsu Sand, it's just not happening. There is not lopp hole or anything it's just impossible. Don't even try that >.> Not to mention Dust Release, it takes out Susanoo. And Gaara Sand Shiels + Tsuchikage Stone Golem solos any technique Itachi has. The speed of the Gokage Ultimate defense is unreal. Not to mention that they have the best Healer in the world with excellent Chakra control and the Fastest man in the world since Minato's death. This is a full team with huge experience, there not losing to Itachi any time soon.

Gaara is what can bring his downfall considering he managed to fight against Susano'o. So all he gotta do is to be careful about his Sand.
Since Yata repels everything he's obviously invincible.
Tsunade and Mei are just a distraction and nuisance, not a real threat.

Itachi takes this if he went full out, something he never did since his opponents are not much of a challenge.
