He's noticeably not a member of the Yamanaka clan due to his last name, and his eyes don't match as well. Most likely it is his own unique KKG or just his own simple tech.

We've already seen that the Shintenshin Jutsu harms the user if they are hurt while in a different body, it would be impossible for Ino to kill someone without also dying.
