Otsutsuki clan is different from the Hyuuga clan. The Otsutsuki actually have al three doujutsus in their clan and only e few members can awaken the rinnegan. So any Hyuuga member being able to associate themselves with the rinnegan is very unlikely.

Rinnegan is vastly superior given by feats, oh amd btw the tenseigan that was breaking apart the moon was the tenseigan MACHINE not TONERI using the EYE itself.

OP: yes a byakugan member can gain the rinnegan if they mix ashura's chakra and gain indra reincarnate's eyes as stated by manga facts.

To be fair he did create a wood style that covered the world in a forest. Comparing that to a moon feat the moon is not even the size of asia although it is relatively close. Compared to rinne sharnningan feats rinnegan+tenseigan would still fall below it. But it depends on whom is using it anyway like you stated. But since Kaguya is the origin of all chakra and she had a rinne sharnningan I'm convinced that it's above even that eye since all eyes stem from kaguya well all "special eyes"
