Just because Hidan is Immortal, doesn't mean he can't be "defeated" by a skilled ninja without having info on his abilities. I say this because his technique requires some time (drawing the circle and impaling himself) meaning an experienced ninja (ex. Jiraiya, Itachi, Kakashi, etc.) wouldn't even give him the time to prepare nor possibly get a sample of their blood. Even during battle if they manage to figure out that he is immortal they can still cut off/damage his head (like Asuma did) or other limbs thus stopping him from using his ability. Without Kakazu there to stitch him up, Hidan is defeated, leaving the skilled ninja to do what they want him (ex. bury, BBQ, rape, etc) HOWEVER, easier said than done. I'm not a Hidan hater. Just wanted to bring up a point. Your thoughts?

I agree,
he can be defeated by many people without info.
Too many for me to list.

well if kakazu didn't interfere he would have been beaten the first time..Asuma would have just picked up his head someone else the body and then he would have been taken back to konoha

Exactly. Kakazu was the only reason Hidan was able to beat Asuma.

Makes perfect sense, Kakuzu and Hidan were an excellent duo. But without Kakuzu, Hidan is easy for a skilled ninja

So does this mean that Hidan isn't all that great like people made him out to be?

Right on. I guess it's safe to conclude that without Kakazu Hidan won't stand a chance in many 1 on 1 battles with ninja at his level. He's still a cool character though
