Yes, Ashura had TSB and therefore wielded all chakra natures. Buddha Statue is his so it's abilities were meant to be used by him therefore Hashirama must have had 5 elements like Tobirama. Also, his use of Mokuton is a symbol of Ashura's affinity with the natural elements and the Juubi being "one with nature".
