Can genjutsu of Uchiha be used on several shinobi at once?

I want to know if Sharingan genjutsu, Tsukuyomi, Izanami and Kotomatsukami can work on more than one person at once. I've been analyzing Itachi's fights just recently and have noticed that he's never actually fought on his own against more than one person at a time. This may be one of the biggest differences between Itachi and Madara. :yeah: Anyway, I've learnt that Itachi is one of the best genjutsu users(maybe THE greatest genjutsu users overall) but it's difficult to tell whether his genjutsu would work on more than one person if he did fight against many shinobi at once. U_U

So can someone please provide me with legit proof from the manga whether genjutsu of the Uchiha Clan can be used on more than one person at a time. :'(

PS: I'm not talking about Mugen Tsukuyomi since that requires the Moon, the Jubi and a few other things. :eww:

Who is AO? Also please explain on why you think Itachi can successfully use genjutsu on more than one person if he were in a fight with about 3-4 shinobi. Proof from Manga as well would be much appreciated. hmm

I can only remember Itachi using Genjutsu on 1 person at a time, a clone of Itachi's with 30% power and that couldn't use the MS did fight Kakashi and Naruto while Chiyo and Sakura hid but he first had Naruto in a genjutsu which Sakura broke him out of then tried putting Kakashi in one as the fight progressed but it was a clone of Kakashi. He never used 1 genjutsu to trap them all.

Id say itachi can trap up to maybe 3 people in his tsukyomi.....i mean its his alternate universe if they meet his gaze idk why he couldnt have more than 1

AO praised Itachi about this feat. Basically he stated Itachi can control people through genjutsu (Used against Kabuto and Woman who tricked Jiraiya). so I guess he controls 1 and use other Genjutsu against the others. From what I see there are different types of genjutsu. Also when he put Naruto under Genjutsu he was fighting Kakashi simulatenously so it is not impossible for him to do

FYI: Kurenai put Kisame and Itachi under Genjutsu at the same time but Itachi countered it

Yah, I remember looking back at this fight. Itachi's only fight in the whole manga/anime where he fought on his own against more than one person. Although he was struggling and lost, but luckily it was a jutsu and he wasn't actually fighting. :yeah:

Itachi has only used Tsukuyomi twice in the whole manga/anime. :| First time he only used it against Sasuke when he confronted him[

Who or what is this AO? :| Yah I think Itachi uses his genjutsu in conjunction with his crow clone technique. That would explain why that time, Kakashi figured out there was a clone of Itachi when he was fighting him with Naruto. @bold - please provide manga scan of this.

Also, the reason why I created this thread was because I wanted to find out if Itachi could use genjutsu on more than one person because if he could, then he would have a good chance of winning against strong shinobi like the Kages(if he ever fought against them). :yeah: Imagine Itachi using genjutsu on several shinobi at once and his crows be flying everywhere eventually forming into clones which stand beside each of his opponents. Awsomeness.

Shikakku and AO hint that Itachi can use genjutsu on multiple people at once , but not wide scale while in several different locations

That , coupled with the fact that Kakashi showed you can utilize sharingan genjutsu on multiple people, as long as they are making eye contact with you

It should be safe to assume ms genjutsu, which follows most the same principles as normal sharingan genjutsu would work the same
