Can Gaara still do this?

Then he reappears...

He basically turns himself into sand and he does this to avoid Lee's finishing move too. No reason why he can't in my eyes.

So the question is, can he still do this?

If most Jounin have two elemental masteries, as Kazekage he should be at least able to use his own Nature.

That's pretty much what I assumed, although it appears to be a much better version of it as the user can be held in place and simply break themselves up an then reappear.

naruto is leagues ahead of jounin , he only has one , gaara may not have done any chakra nature training ,he had fuuton cus of shukaku so if he hasnt got shukaku he may not have wind

......:|....I was making a reference to what Kakashi said. Also, Naruto is a Genin by rank. Rank observes ability, which is why I think Gaara should have at least one being Kazekage an all.
I know that Shukaku used Wind Style techniques but Gaara has been shown to have wind style moves, such as sand bullets.
There is of course no confirmations in the Narutoverse that Gaara has any elemental affinity but there are strong indicators that he does/should.

I could also say that there are many other Chunin & Jonin who haven't been seen to use Elements but I doubt they don't have them.

I can't really see why he could'nt still do that, many characters over many forums who have multiple abilitys may do something once or twice and then the writer completly forgets about it (i'm looking at you thor and superman)

It's just the Body Flicker Technique and Gaara only uses the sand to cover up his movements.
So yes, he can still do that.

Why wouldn't he be able to? It's basically his version of the Body Flicker technique
