Can Gaara defeat MS Obito in the desert with Konan's strategy?

What if Gaara parts the ground under Obito and has him falling 100s of feet and keeps sand barraging him for 10+ minutes. He wont be able to teleport and his kamui will run out after 10 mins then he will be forced to use Izanagi. And after Obito does Izanagi he can just do the same move again.

With Konan he couldn't because the Paper Bombs explosions weere hurting him when he tried to go visible...the sand can't replicate that effect, so this plan will fail against him.

For one, please, proper spelling, and for the bold, none of that is true at all, Gaara can't just bring it back if it's in another dimension.

Because Obito has senju cells though, his eyes regenerate. Even if Gaara caught on, Obito could use Inzangi again. It would put them in the same situation. So basically, draw at best.
