I keep hearing people say that he can, but I'm not seeing any feats. I am hearing that Gaara will seal Katsuyu or can. But lets check that fact. For one Katsuyu is a chakra transmiter and we all know that massive surges of chakra can disrupt a sealing jutsu, something that isn't hard for Katsuyu to do.

And this, Katsuyu can liquify and divide, possibly enough to fit through the grains of sand.

Does his Pyramid not seal though? Summons are contracted to this realm through seals, don't see why a sealing jutsu wouldn't just de-summon it.

He can also just overwhelm the liquid form with enough sand to push it underground lol makes his job even easier in that regard.

Seals are broken by powerful surges of chakra. Katsuyu is a Slug chakra reciever. She can spike her chakra to disrupt the seal.
Or even brute her way out just as the trollkage did.
