Can Danzou Counter Amenominaka?

If kaguya switched him from the base dimension into the acid one and he used Izanagi whcih two options would happen?

1. Izanagi sends him back to the base dimension before kaguya switched him.

or

2. Izanagi sends him back to the moment he first entered the new dimension??


Ive been wondering this for awhile.

2. I don't think izanagi is going to teleport him back to the regular dimension. Anybody who has no means of flying are kinda screwed unless they think fast like kakashi.

It depends on when the izanagi eye started "recording", if it was active in the base dimension, then Izanagi will switch him back to the base dimension.

Izanagi doesn't erase the results unless they are not fatal. He can't use it at whim.

Izanagi doesn't give the ability to travel through dimensions and even if it could he would be dead before he can activate the jutsu

Izanagi can rewrite reality, not just escape death. With that said, if Izanagi is activated before Kaguya activates Amenominaka then he can rewrite reality so that she never uses it in the first place.
