Naruto & Kurama can separate at will whilst remaining telepathically linked. Lets say itachi does trap Naruto in his gen, how would itachi stop the 100% Kurama that would insta appear and wreak havoc? Itachi would get wrecked low diff.

I guess he doesn't realize Kurma could detect Tsukuyomi, realize he isn't capable of breaking it and separate from Naruto all faster than genjutsu that is instantaneous. :|
