Am I forgetting something? I mean, in all of Part 2, I only recall Lee being remotely impressive during the war arc.
I see how he would defeat Kimmimaro but I'm really not understanding how people think he beats Gaara. Gaara
has gotten a lot stronger, as his sand moves faster, and he can control more of it now. Maybe I'm just forgetting some
Lee feats so feel free to enlighten me.

I only remember Lee getting a hit and doing 0 damage to Kimimaro. Lee doesnt have the physical power in base to break through his bones.

He won't need to break his bone he attack his body without even touching his bones , I mean lee is fast enough to do it

And btw why did kimimaro used his second crus mark form if he wasn't having hard time with lee ? I don't understand why you people hype him so much even kidomaru showd much.more interesting feats than him comparing him to current lee is just crazy

Lee can possibly take out Kimimaro but not Gaara.

Gaara can fly high in the air out of Rock Lee's attack range and spam sand attacks. If Gaara uses the same sand tsunami tech he used on Kimimaro then Lee gets instantly buried; there is no way Lee is outrunning all that sand.

Gaara can take as long as he wants and spam sand attacks from the sky while Lee gets worn out. Its no contest really.

Edit: After considering the hardness of Kimimaro's bones, I don't think any of Lee's attacks would have any effect. Kimimaro's bones were said to be much harder than steel and not even Gaara could crush his bones. If we are considering a healthy Kimimaro then he survives all of Lee's attacks and then negs.

That doesn't mean anything, it's just that when someone is using taijutsu the effects will hardly appear on the opponent , and I don't really remember garaa doing anything that left a mark on kimimaro

No level two is referenced many times in the manga as when someone gets dark skin and looks monster like.
