Definitely. Coby has the fastest growth rate of any One Piece character. I think Coby improves so quickly because he is a prodigy. I say he has extreme talent for haki also.

-have great CoC
-master Rokushiki and Garp's technigue
-Mera Mera no mi

With all this, that I see as highly plausible, Coby can push Luffy high-exteme diff.

There is a,ways a chance given this is story being written and not as if these r real pple.

For him to catch up in a non BS manner well I wld say even with his growth rate he needs a hyper strenght booster probably in the form of a very high tier df coz it wld b kinda nonsensical if he cld fight on the level with Luufy with haki n hand to hand Luffy has been doing the latter for longer n the former they had equal masters n began close to the same point in time. I always loved that marines n WG r hogging all/some of the game changer lvl df's conspiracy theory.
