[Discussion] Can CoA break through Barts' shields?

Haki has been shown many times to disrupt the functionality of a DF's ability.

It can make Logias touchable
Hurt the rubber man Luffy
And is probably what Luffy needs to be able to touch Magellan without getting poisoned.

So do you think CoA is the ability needed to get through his shields?

Haki is a supplementary move of your offensive(or defensive) attack. Haki alone can't hurt anyone. It's power of the attack enhanced with COA that actually hurt. So it depends on the power of the attack to evaluate if enhanced with COA, it can or cannot break something

I don't mean in terms of strength, I mean if the attributes of Haki alone can overpower the DF ability

Hard to say. King Punch didnt do anything to the shield, while king ounch was able to damage the hand of that big big big stone guy...

Rayleigh just held out his hand wich was infused with haki and the elephant was floundering around in pain
It was no offensive move so haki alone can hurt someone unless im interpreting that scan wrong.

Nope. Damn near everyone in the NW has Haki. I think in order to get past Barto's barriers you need some WB type quakes or something.

I have had a discussion on this with few people when barto was still new to us.

It is still in realm of possibilities that someone can just pass right through his barriers if he is fully covered with haki because
haki = anti-DF.
But i think barto might be an exception because if not, that would make his barrier entirely useless.

If it's superior to the Busoshoku Haki that Bartolomeo uses combined with the strength of the barrier then yes it will definitely break the barrier.
