The repulsive power of Deva path will push the kirin away, not chibaku tensei.
Chibaku tensei will attract anything in a center of gravity.

Even though Kirin has the elemental advantage seeing as how huge Chibaku Tensei is I don't believe it would have much effect unless done when Chibaku tensei was just starting perhaps.
