Cell has frieza and gokus DNA. That means if he trains for 6 months just like frieza, won't he become a god. And if anyone puts him near death he'll also get the zankai boost that saiyans get when near death and come back stronger. And since cell can regenerate vi piccolos DNA, you would have to completely vaporize him which would be hard since he's god level. So cell would be an op god. Especially a perfect god cell.

Logically yes he could,though Frieza wasn't technically a god.

With the same amount of training Cell could get even more powerful since he was at SS2 Gohan's level before dying.

Either way, some of cell is frieza. That means he thinks like him partially too. And with a mix of goku? Yeah I think he has the fighting spirit even though that's not how you become a god. And it was stated that frieza trained not that he had a fighting spirit. He just wanted to kill goku, and so does cell.
