If Neji were to close Sasuke's tenketsu leading to his eyes should he be able to deactivate Sharingan?

The more I think of Hyuga the more I'm convinced they really are the strongest in the Hidden Leaf.

Possibly since chakra wouldn't go through the eyes (changing their appearence), although this is assuming one of the chakra points is connected to the eyes and/or the user can even hit in the head/that area. This technically could work for all dojutsu (sharingan, rinnegan, and/or byakugan.)

Yes it would work. Actually if Byakugan user is highly skilled and very precise then he would strike optical nerves in Uchiha's body by focused, high condensed and pin pointed narrow Air finger attack(version of Air palm, but instead of using palm use each finger.). In theory it would shut down sharingan for Uchiha. However Hyuuga would have to have mastered Gentle fist, be faster then Uchiha in reaction time at least, strong chakra and great shape manipulation at top of best chakra control.

In other words nigh impossible.
