unless you aim for the head and the shinobi is really slow i dont think so, we have seen characters who survived getting pierced through the chest like naruto and obito, others that were almost bleeding to death like kiba, others survived mortal poison like kakaru brother, once again obito without senju dna survived getting crushed by a giant boulder, other characters like madara and obito fell from hundreds of metters to the ground and were unaffected by it.

Only fodder gennins. Others like Kakashi and even kid Naruto have shown impressive durability. You need to consider that the kunai and shuriken are being thrown by ninja with superhuman strength. Depending on the user, they can be stronger than bullets.

even a Genin Sasuke was Super Sonic...while having time to pickup and carry two people. Bullets are fodder to shinobi. (Decapitating air waves-Using the air tubes implanted in his palms, Zaku can control the ratio of air pressure and sound via chakra. By propelling this combination, he can release supersonic blasts of air. These blasts are powerful enough to destroy stone, and can also be used to soften the ground. After tree climbing a shinobi should have no trouble with bullets.

As for Kunai, who actually was killed by kunai (while in battle?) their just for diversionary tactics.
