Well he reacted right as Sasuke was about to strike, similar to how Naruto realized Sasuke was behind him as he was preparing to launch the Chidori on him.

yes maybe .since it is illogical for the rasengan's chakra to be invincible for even doujutsu users .but if you asked me ,no logic was left after boruto making his rasengan invincible without even trying .so I won't be surprised if doujutsu can't see it .

This was coordinated attack .it doesn't interpret to speed equality .just like how darui=\=V1 Ay, kakashi=\=6th gate gai ,RS=\=susano's arrow ...etc

He probably was on something close to RSM's level of sensing. That once he is in the form, it's just conscious. Because I don't know how he would activate it prior before an instant S/T.

Either way the feat itself doesn't matter because the technique going invisible should be explained sooner or later.

He was careless with boruto and let his guard down .he had everyone restrained already .he didn't expect to be hit by 10 years old kid .
