Can Boruto awaken Byakugan as well?

If Himiwara can awaken the Byakugan and she has the same Uzumaki/Hyuuga heritage than Boruto should be able to awaken it as well. Imagine how much more of a beast he'll be.

Byakugan has always been nerfed, you've witnessed the byakugan unerfed thanks to Kaguya and Toneri. Byakugan + powerful chakra and awesome elemental ninjutsu = GG. Unlike the hyuuga Himawari and Boruto won't be restricted to only taijutsu and their chakra is unique and extremely powerful.
